It has long been my dream to have a space on the internet where I share the bits and bobs that make my life more fabulous. When I was younger, I was eager to share my favorite nightclubs and "it girl" events. As I got more "sophisticated," I wanted to share my knowledge of couture and how it translated to real life. Then as I realized how women were struggling to get dressed, I wanted to share tips for everyday style. Now, I realize the struggle is even more basic: none of us know what to buy or where to find it. We can have all the style we want, but what's the point if we can't find clothes to make it a reality?

 

So I've refreshed my blog (again) to best serve all my friends who ask me, "Where did you get that?" and "How do you find this cute stuff?" Because I don't want it to be a secret. I still want to share all the things that make my life fabulous -which are now clothes! And I want everyone to curate their own closet full of wonderful things.

Now, let's get one thing straight: I'm not one of *those* women. You know the ones: glamazons with a wardrobe no ordinary woman could wear or afford. No, no. That's not me. I'm a middle-aged, mid-sized, middle-income woman. Meaning, I'm pretty ordinary, so to speak, probably a lot like you. But I happen to have an extraordinary penchant for shopping and a desire to share all my finds with you!

As much as this blog fulfills a dream for me, I hope even more that it becomes an invaluable resource for you. I hope that you come back here again and again. I'd love to know that you returned, looking for that pair of jeans I wrote about. Or that you decided to pull the trigger on the sweater I convinced all my friends to buy. I can't wait to receive your emails asking for help finding whatever thing you want to add to your wardrobe. And rest assured, I'll be sharing everything I find, right here, with you.
